Deathroot Hidden Path To The Haligtree Location And How To Reach It
Navigating the treacherous terrain of Elden Ring often requires players to uncover hidden secrets and solve intricate environmental puzzles. The dungeon known as the Hidden Path to the Haligtree is one such location that serves a dual purpose in the game. Beyond acting as a gateway to consecrated grounds, it contains valuable treasure including a sought-after Deathroot.
Locating the Hidden Path to the Haligtree Dungeon
To reach the entrance of this dungeon, players must first collect both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion from different regions. After securing the left and right pieces, travel directly to the Grand Lift of Rold situated in the Mountaintops of the Giants. At the lift, switch the prompt interaction to hoist the secret medallion, which unlocks access to the hidden catacombs.
Navigating the Invisible Walkways Below
Upon entering the Hidden Path to the Haligtree, the primary path appears straightforward, but the true rewards lie below the main walkways. In the main hall, look for a broken section of the stone railing above a vast, dark pit. Dropping down reveals invisible walkways that lead to hidden corridors tucked away beneath the main floor.
Defeating the Boss and Claiming the Deathroot
Following the secret invisible path leads players toward an optional boss arena containing a Stray Mimic Tear. Defeating this boss requires adaptability, as it copies your exact character build and equipment upon entry. Once the battle is won, open the chest located in the room behind the arena to retrieve the Deathroot.
Exchanging Deathroot for Bestial Rewards
Acquiring Deathroot is essential for players following the questline of Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman residing at the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid. Delivering this item to Gurranq grants unique beastial incantations, weapons, and useful items that bolster Faith-focused character builds. Completing this search in the Hidden Path to the Haligtree brings you one step closer to fully completing Gurranq's requests.
